First Year: Bible Training Institute Course

Become Grounded in the Word of God

Charis Bible College believes in the importance of academics, but those who are going into the ministry must know how to minister! We strive for a balance between knowledge of Scripture and practical ministry experiences.

First Year Classes

The Year 1 curriculum is designed to give students a solid biblical foundation with an emphasis on faith, grace and walking with the Holy Spirit through the work of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Ministry hours

In addition to classes, students are required to volunteer in practical ministry, in order to graduate. They can serve either in a local church, Andrew Wommack Ministries, Charis Bible College, or other CBC-approved ministries. There are many opportunities to serve depending on your interests, talents, and availability.

Certificate

Upon completion of the first-year program, students receive a Certificate of Completion in Biblical Studies and are eligible to apply for the Second Year at any Charis Bible College location.

Relationship with God

Our Year 1 program is all about foundations and discovery. Cultivating a strong foundation and relationship with God is key if you want to find His purpose for your life. Before the experiential application of ministry can be explored, it is vital that each student builds a firm foundation in the Word of God.
